Nila

Delete your account & data

Last updated: August 10, 2026

Guest device data

You do not need an account to use Nila. If you are using a Guest space, open Nila, go to Settings, and choose Delete this device data. This permanently removes the encrypted reflections, conversations, and settings stored on that device. A Guest space is not backed up or synced, so uninstalling Nila or clearing its app data also removes it.

Delete everything from inside the app

You can permanently delete your Nila account and associated data at any time:

  1. Open Nila.
  2. Go to Settings.
  3. Tap “Delete my account”.
  4. Read the warning and tap “Delete everything”.

Nila only reports success after the cloud account and local encrypted data have been deleted. If the request fails, the app keeps your data and lets you retry. Deletion cannot be undone.

If you cannot access the app

Email support@nila.health from the address used for your Nila account and ask us to delete it. We will verify account ownership, delete the Supabase account and associated Nila server data, and confirm when the request is complete.

What is deleted, and what we keep

Deleted: your Supabase email account, display name, authentication identity, Nila server-side usage counters and AI reply reports associated with that account, plus the encrypted profile, check-ins, mood and reflection records, conversations, and settings stored on the device where you request deletion.

Not cancelled or automatically deleted: deleting a Nila account does not cancel an active Google Play subscription. Google Play and RevenueCat may retain purchase records as required to process subscriptions, refunds, fraud prevention, tax, and legal obligations. Manage or cancel the subscription in Google Play.

Uninstalling is not account deletion

Uninstalling Nila removes the encrypted local database from that device, but it does not delete your Supabase account or cancel a Google Play subscription. Use the in-app deletion flow or contact us before uninstalling if you also want the cloud account deleted.
